Whitni Watkins was the Social Media Intern at the Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) during the Fall 2013 semester. This internship allowed her to combine her existing interest in social media with the opportunity to learn how to effectively create and implement a social media strategic plan for a public library. She explains, “I have a keen interest in social media; I use it on a daily basis in my personal life.
